Couch surfing

Recently, I signed up for couchsurfing.com. Couch surfing, as its name implies, is when you crash on a stranger's couch while traveling. Not only does it save money, but more importantly, it allows the traveler to get the best experience possible by spending time with a local. It also allows the local to show off his or her town, and it reminds me that there are good people in this crazy world of ours.
This is Thomas. He was our first couch surfing host, and he could not have been a better one. He picked us up at the train station, took us hiking around the vineyards, took us champagne tasting and to other great sights. He also cooked us a traditional dinner and gave us a map to tour the city on our own.

Look closely, there are lots of snails.

That's incredible! And he's not a serial killer?! This is a great concept
